1. WHEN AM I A PARTICIPANT IN THE PLAN?

Once the total of your Covered Hours earned during the current and preceding Plan Year reach 750, you will become a Participant as of the first day of the following month. A Covered Hour is an hour of work for which an employer is required to make contributions to the Pension Plan. A Plan Year is the period from July 1 to June 30.

For example, if you begin covered employment in April, 2007 and work 300 hours prior to June 30, 2007 and then work 450 hours from July 1, 2007 through September, 2007, you will become a participant on October 1, 2007.
