Domestic partner rules apply to the Health & Welfare Plan only. General Beneficiary designation rules apply to all Plans.

Benefit Plan Checklist

Items regarding the Health Plans apply only to participants in the Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Plans. However, if you participate in another electrician health plan, it is likely that similar considerations will apply.

  Domestic Partnership coverage was added to the Health Plan effective October 1, 2005. Read Amendment 9 to the Health Plan for full details on how this coverage may apply.
 

A Special 50% Joint and Survivor Pension Option for unmarried Participants with Domestic Partners was added to the DB Pension Plan effective May 1, 2007.
