SPECIAL MESSAGE TO PARTICIPANTS

The Administrative Trust Funds Office would like you to know that it has been determined to be an "essential service" organization. The Fund Office will remain open with limited personnel on-site as long as it is permissible under the "Safer at Home" Order as well as Local Ordinances and State and Federal Law. Fund Office personnel are also working remotely to ensure that the needs of participants and signatory employers continue to be met.

Retirement Benefits – Participants already receiving retirement benefits through the Southern California IBEW-NECA Pension Trust Fund will continue to receive their retirement benefits as scheduled for both electronic funds transfers (EFTs) and manual checks. Please contact the Administrative Trust Funds Office if you would like to set up an electronic deposit for your future benefit payments.

Health Benefits – Active and Retired Participants eligible for health benefits through the Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Trust Fund will continue to receive their benefits. The April 2020 eligibility files have been delivered to the health benefit vendors (Anthem Blue Cross, Kaiser Permanente, United Healthcare, Citizens Rx, United Concordia HMO/PPO, CIGNA, and Delta, VSP, etc.). Please contact the Administrative Trust Funds Office if you experience any difficulties or if you would like to review your eligibility status. Please remember, you are able to use your Health Reimbursement Account ("HRA") for allowable expenses, as long as you are eligible under the Health Plan, including COBRA payments.
