Prescription Solutions, the prescription benefit manager for the Health Fund, is issuing new ID cards to eligible IBEW Local 11 participants the week of June 16, 2008. The new ID cards will have an encrypted number as a means of identifying the card holder. These new ID cards will replace the current ID cards that contain the Social Security number of the eligible participant. The new encrypted ID cards are valid on July 1, 2008. The previously issued cards with your Social Security number printed on the card should be securely discarded on July 1, 2008.

Participants may present the new encrypted Prescription Solution ID card along with your prescription to any participating pharmacy to receive your medication. Presentation does not guarantee eligibility for the holder of the card.

Prescription Solutions contracts with some of the largest pharmacy chains nationwide. If you do not find a pharmacy and/or would like an additional card for a dependent, please contact the Prescription Solutions Customer Service agents at 1-800-797-9791.
