As the California wildfires rage on, impacting a growing number of people, we wanted to let our clients know of the ways Health Advocate might be of special assistance to your employees or their family members who live and work in the affected area. While we are sending this special message to emphasize the immediate needs of the fire victims, clearly we also encourage any of your employees who need our help to call us as well.

With people being relocated, some of the immediate needs of those with medical concerns may include finding local healthcare providers, or obtaining medications which may have been forgotten or destroyed. We can help locate and make arrangements for providers to see them.

In the chaos and resulting anxiety of an emergency of this magnitude, many people may have difficulty understanding the clinical and administrative information they or their family members are receiving, or may not know the right questions to ask. We can help clarify and guide them through these issues. In the aftermath of the fires’ devastation, other expected and unexpected issues will undoubtedly appear. As a reminder of how we can help, below my signature line is a summary of the types of support we provide our members and their families.
