Full Time Student Coverage

Dependent children are covered under the Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Plan (Active only) until the end of the month in which the child reaches age 19. Full-time student status may extend your dependent's eligibility through the end of the month they turn 25.
How to apply for Full-Time Student coverage:

1. Download the Full-Time Student Verification Form from the Trust Fund's website, available here.
2. Complete Sections I and II and print out the form.
3. Deliver the form to the Registrar's office at the school your dependent child is attending and request them to complete Section III.
4. Return the fully completed, signed and dated form to the Trust Funds Administrative Office.

REMEMBER TO UPDATE your Full-time Student status every six-months to maintain current eligibility.
