New Prescription Benefits Manager Effective February 1, 2013

We are pleased to announce that beginning on February 1, 2013, Citizens Rx will be replacing OptumRx as the pharmacy benefit manager.

PLEASE NOTE:  Your current OptumRx (dba Prescription Solutions) ID card will no longer be valid for prescriptions after January 31, 2013.

You will be receiving new ID cards and more information in January.  The Citizens Rx card is accepted at more than 63,000 retail pharmacies nationwide. Please visit www.Citizensrx.com for the complete list of participating network pharmacies.

Your current prescription drug benefit will remain unchanged. Your co-payments at the retail network pharmacies will remain unchanged.  Your current, active prescriptions on file with a participating network pharmacy will remain in effect.

Citizens Rx also offers Mail Order services to SC IBEW-NECA Health Trust Fund members. Existing prescriptions that have refills remaining will automatically be transferred to the Citizens Rx Mail Service Pharmacy. More information regarding the mail service and information on how to enroll will be included in the information that you receive in January.
