The Board of Trustees of the Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Trust Fund has hired Coast Benefits, Inc., as the Plan’s third party administrator to process claims and issue claims payments for eligible participants enrolled in the Retiree Health Plan’s Medicare Supplement program and eligible Active Health Plan participants’ claims related to the Active Health Plan’s Orthotic Benefit starting February 1, 2017.  Active Health Plan participants enrolled in Kaiser or United Healthcare who utilize the Active Health Plan’s medical body scan benefit, will have their claims processed by Coast Benefits, Inc.

Coast Benefits, Inc. is a third party administrator dedicated to processing claims for eligible expense reimbursement under the provisions of the Plan (Active and Retiree).

Claims must include the name and address of the provider, date of service, the diagnosis or condition being treated, and an itemized listing of services received. Reimbursement of claims under the Retiree Health Plan Medicare Supplement Plan and Active Health Plan’s orthotic benefit shall be made directly to the participant and not to the provider.  Claim forms are available through your dedicated website at www.scibew-neca.org.

Body Scan International will submit claims for the Active Plan’s medical body scan benefit directly to Coast Benefits, Inc. for participants enrolled in Kaiser Permanente and United Healthcare, and will continue to submit claims directly to Anthem Blue Cross for participants enrolled in Anthem Blue Cross PPO plan.
