Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan for IBEW Local 11 Inside Wiremen, Intelligent Transportation, Inspectors and Railroad Workers
The benefits for the SUB Plan are  set forth in the published SPD dated January 1, 2015.
This is a Summary Plan Description of the benefits to be effective with regard to unemployment benefits actually received on and after January 1, 2015.
INTRODUCTION
 Effective August 29, 2013, the Union and Association established the Southern California IBEW-NECA Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Trust Fund ("SUB") for IBEW Local 11 Inside Wiremen, Intelligent Transportation, Inspectors and Railroad workers. This Plan is established by the Trustees for the purpose of providing payments that supplement state unemployment compensation for Participants whose employment with an Employer is terminated involuntarily due to lack of work or a reduction in workforce.
 This is a Summary Plan Description of the benefits to be effective with regard to unemployment benefits actually received on and after January 1, 2015. It is the Plan's rules and regulations and describes:
  -  How you become eligible for benefits under the Plan
 
  - How much you may be eligible to receive under the Plan
 
  - How to file a claim for benefits from the Plan
 
  - What to do if you return to work
 
  - When your benefits are terminated under the Plan
 
  - Your rights under the Plan
 
 This document, and any future amendments to it, serves as the official Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan document. Additional information is available from the Fund Office. You may examine copies of the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreements and other related documents at the Southern California IBEW-NECA Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Trust Fund Office ("Fund Office").
 The entire cost of the Plan is paid by Employers through Contributions to the Trust Fund.
 Benefits under this Plan are contingent upon the continuation of the Plan by the Trustees and upon the financial adequacy of the Trust Fund to which Employer Contributions are made. Additionally, the Trustees have complete, total and unrestricted discretion and authority to commence, modify and terminate benefit payments from the Supplemental Unemployment Benefit Plan and to determine the weekly benefit rates. The Plan is financed by payments made by the participating Employers.
The masculine gender, where appearing in the Plan, shall be deemed to include the feminine or neutral gender, and the singular shall be deemed to include the plural, and vice-versa, unless the context clearly indicates to the contrary.
The words "you" and "your" shall mean and refer to the Employee and/or Participant.
