Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Trust Fund introduces UnitedHealthcare Harmony HMO

Effective January 1, 2020, the Board of Trustees of the Southern California IBEW-NECA Health Trust Fund (“Health Plan”) has elected to offer eligible participants UnitedHealthcare's SignatureValue Harmony HMO as the UnitedHealthcare plan option available through the Health Plan.

What is UnitedHealthcare SignatureValue Harmony HMO?

The Board of Trustees is excited about offering SignatureValue Harmony HMO because it has been designed in collaboration with UnitedHealthcare's premiere medical groups to provide better coordinated care with an enhanced level of customer service.

How will this affect my benefits?

No changes are being made to your benefits. You will continue to have the same plan benefits. There is no change to your pharmacy access/benefits. You may continue to use your pharmacy benefits as usual. Contact the Administrative Trust Funds Office if you have any questions.

If your primary care provider is not part of the Harmony HMO Network, you may choose to elect SignatureValue Harmony HMO. You will need to complete the Enrollment Form and change to a Harmony HMO Network provider. You will not be able to change back to your former UnitedHealthcare Plan, once you elect Harmony HMO.

Is my current provider in UnitedHealthcare's Signature Value Harmony HMO Network?

You should have received materials advising if your current primary care provider is part of the Harmony network. Please take some time to review the information and contact the Administrative Trust Funds Office at the toll-free number (800) 824-6935 or (323) 221-5861 and ask for the Membership Services Department. We'll be happy to assist you. Normal business hours are 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and weekends.
